About

Jim Leach has been playing music professionally for more than 30 years, touring North America as a guitar player with several of the days' established tribute bands, including tributes to Alice Cooper (Billion Dollar Babies), Van Halen (Van Wailin / 5150 / Eruption), Guns N Roses (Lies), Stone Temple Pilots & Velvet Revolver (Plush Velvet), Bon Jovi (Slippery When Wet / Bad Medicine), Aerosmith (Aeroforce / Nine Lives), Bruce Springsteen (Glory Days), Pink Floyd (Dark Side) and Led Zeppelin (Zed Zeppelin / The Songs Remain the Same). Jim is currently a member of Canada's premier Tragically Hip tribute, Practically Hip.

Around Southern Ontario, Jim has played with local and touring cover bands Sanctus, White Knuckle Flyer, Leadfoot, Eden Hill, Nervous Rex, Claptrap, Hammerheadz, Soulmate, Jamhouse, River Road, Done Deel, Dougy Flyswatter, Durty Little Secrets, Company of Strangers, Crank and Say Uncle.

Original projects have included 7^th Veil and Hamilton Ontario heavy metal heroes Sarasin. Jim has also co-written and supplied guitar tracks for several songs with Stone Mitchell.
